Station: Winchester 7¾m. Stagecoach Hampshire buses X64/64 from Winchester (Bus Station) to Alresford (West Street); twice per hour, takes 34 mins. Then west along West Street which becomes The Avenue, and ground is on left (¼m).

Station: Alton ½m. Up Station Road then right into Anstey Road and ground is on right.

Bemerton Heath Harlequins Western Way, Salisbury, Wiltshire SP2 9DP
Station: Salisbury 1¾m. Wilts and Dorset bus R1 from Salisbury (Fisherton Street) to Salisbury (Pembroke Road at Western Way); six times per hour, takes 18 mins. Then up Western Way and ground is at end (¼m). Note that bus R1 is a circular route in one direction; bus back into Salisbury is thus from same stop.

Hamworthy United County Ground, Blandford Close, Hamworthy, Poole, Dorset BH15 4BF
Station: Poole 1¼m. Wilts and Dorset bus 9 from Poole (Bus Station) to Hamworthy (Blandford Road at Blandford Close); four times per hour, takes 10 mins. Then up Blandford Close to ground (¼m). Note that the bridge across Poole Harbour, which is crossed by the bus or indeed on foot, is raised at intervals for about ten minutes, usually at half past the hour.

Station: Petersfield ¾m. Left out of station into Lavant Street, right into Station Road, right into Tor Way, left into Love Lane and ground is at end.

Pewsey Vale Recreation Ground, off High Street, Pewsey, Wiltshire SN9 5AQ

Station: Bournemouth 11m. Wilts and Dorset buses X3/36 from Bournemouth (Square) to Ringwood (Meeting House Lane); three times per hour, takes 37 mins. Then continue east along Meeting House Lane, right into Mansfield Road, right into Southampton Road, left into Christ Church Road, right to remain in Christ Church Road, straight over roundabout, continue out of town, left into Moortown Lane, right into Long Lane, and ground is on left (1½m).

Stockbridge High Street, Stockbridge, Hampshire SO20 6EU
Station: Winchester 9m. Stagecoach Hampshire bus 68 from Winchester (Bus Station) to Stockbridge (High Street, first stop on entering village); infrequent, there is a journey from Winchester at 1235, takes 38 mins, and return journeys from Stockbridge at 1720 and 1755. Entrance to ground is a few yards back towards roundabout.

HOW TO GET TO OTHER WESSEX PREMIER GROUNDS

This notice is added for the benefit of those wishing to follow the Poppies on their travels this season, most details are from personal choice, so you may already know a better way. HOW TO GET TO ALRESFORD TOWN
Leave Bournemouth on the A338 to Ringwood and join the A31, then follow the M27 and M3 to Winchester. Leave at junction 10 and join the A31 for Alresford and Alton. Leave the A31 at the B3047 roundabout at this end of Alresford. Continue on this road (Winchester Road) into The Avenue for about 1 mile. The ground is on your left. Sat Nav postcode is SO24 9EP

HOW TO GET TO ALTON TOWN
Leave Bournemouth on the A338 to Ringwood and join the A31, then follow the M27 and M3 to Winchester. Leave at junction 10 and join the A31 for Alresford and Alton. Leave the A31 at the B3004 roundabout at the far end of Alton. Go over the railway line and left, where the schools are to your front, into Anstey Road.
The ground is on your left just after the first turn on your right.
Distance: 58.6 miles, allow 86 minutes.

HOW TO GET TO BEMERTON HEATH HARLEQUINS
Leave Bournemouth on the A338 to Ringwood and continue towards Salisbury. Follow the ring road around the city and join the A36 towards Wilton, Warminster. Approximately one mile after the A36/A360 roundabout you pass a BP Garage, then, when the road curves to your left (Skew Bridge) turn right in to Roman Road, then almost immediately left into Pembroke Road, it is signed Westwood Sports Centre.
When this road curves to the right take a left turn again - into Western Way, the ground is at the end of this road.
Distance: 30.9 miles, allow 56 minutes.

HOW TO GET TO BLACKFIELD & LANGLEY
Leave Bournemouth on the A338 to Ringwood and join the A31, and then follow the M27. Leave the motorway at junction 2 taking the A326 towards Fawley.
Continue along the A326 bypassing Hythe.
Pass Hardley School, on your right and at the next roundabout take the second exit into Long Copse. Turn left at the traffic lights in to Newlands Road for Gang warily. The ground is about 150 yards along on your left.
Distance: 37.0 miles, allow 60 minutes.

HOW TO GET TO BRADING TOWN
Leave Bournemouth and head towards Christchurch. Take the A337 at Somerford roundabout towards Highcliffe. Continue until you reach Lymington. Then pick up the B3054 for the Ferry. Exit Yarmouth on the A3054 heading for Newport, on the outskirts pick up Medina Way at the roundabout heading towards Newport. Stay on this road crossing the river to the next big gyratory roundabout (do not take the off slip before you reach it) take first exit which is still the A3954 signed Ryde.
Take first right on to Staplers Road. Stay on this road for around 0.6 miles passing a road called Mayfield Drive on your left and when you reach green fields on your right, look for a right turn into Long Lane. This may be signed Robin Hill Country Park. At the roundabout take third exit, passing the Hare & Hounds. Turn left immediately after passing the pub.
Stay on this road for around 2.5 miles crossing the Arreton Down and Ashey Down. Immediately before the road takes a sharp left curve for Ryde, turn right on to Bullys Hill. Stay on this road down into the village. At the T-junction turn left on to the Mall. Stay on this road until you reach the A3055 running right to left. Turn left towards Ryde on to High Street. Stay on this road passing West Street on your left, Cross Street on your left and Quay Lane on your right. Pass a large car park on your right and then turn right into Vicarage Lane for the ground (this road is not much more than a gravel track).

Leave Bournemouth on the A338 to Ringwood and join the A31, and then follow the M27. Leave at the M271 and head for the Red Jet ferry terminal.
There is a Bus Station in the ferry entrance where a regular bus service (up to every six minutes) can be picked up to take you into Newport town centre. Change there for a bus to Brading this runs hourly and takes around 21 minutes.
Distance: 37.0 miles, allow 151 minutes.

HOW TO GET TO CHRISTCHURCH
Leave Bournemouth on the A338 to Ringwood. Leave the road at the first exit, Blackwater Bridge, and then turn right for Bournemouth International Airport. Take the second exit at the first roundabout. The ground entrance is 50 yards along on your right.
Distance: 5.0 miles, allow 11 minutes.

HOW TO GET TO DOWNTON
Leave Bournemouth on the A338 to Ringwood and continue towards Salisbury. Take the first left after the lights at Downton (by the Bull Hotel) into Wick Lane. The ground entrance is about 0.3 miles down on your left.

HOW TO GET TO FAREHAM TOWN
Leave Bournemouth on the A338 to Ringwood and join the A31, and then follow the M27. Leave at junction 11 taking the A27 towards Fareham. Follow signs for A32 Gosport. Pass under the viaduct with Fareham Creek on your left. After passing the Esso Garage (watch out for speed camera!), fork right for the B3385 signed Lee on Solent. Pass over humped back railway bridge and then turn right in to Palmerston Business Park (Palmerston Drive) opposite a Shell Garage and follow this through to the end (passing the Royal Mail depot) to the car park.
Distance: 47.2 miles, allow 63 minutes.

HOW TO GET TO FAWLEY AFC
Leave Bournemouth on the A338 to Ringwood and join the A31, and then follow the M27. Leave the motorway at junction 2 taking the A326 towards Fawley.
Continue along the A326 bypassing Hythe. The Club is situated on the right hand side around 0.7 mile after crossing the Hardley roundabout. The Club is positioned directly behind the service road on the right hand side after passing Hardley School and is adjacent to the Waterside Theatre.
Distance: 34.2 miles, allow 53 minutes.

HOW TO GET TO GE HAMBLE
Leave Bournemouth on the A338 to Ringwood and join the A31, and then follow the M27. Leave at junction 8 and take the turning for Southampton East. At the Windhover roundabout take the exit for Hamble (B3397) Hamble Lane, proceed for 3 miles. Upon entering Hamble the ground is on the right via Kings Avenue, opposite the Harrier Public House.
Distance: 41.0 miles, allow 54 minutes.

HOW TO GET TO HAMWORTHY UNITED
Leave Bournemouth and head to Wallisdown Roundabout. Take the first exit into Alder Road, take the second exit at the first roundabout, then at the next roundabout take the right hand lane but signal and turn left and then take the third exit at the next roundabout. Follow Bournemouth Road into Poole, taking care of the speed cameras near the Grasshopper and on the hill leading down towards Ashley Cross. Go round the Civic Centre roundabout and keep Poole Park on your left, pick up signs for A350 Hamworthy and head for the lifting bridge. After crossing the bridge turn right at the roundabout and then third right into Blandford Close for the ground
Distance: 7.2 miles, allow 18 minutes.

HOW TO GET TO HAYLING UNITED
Leave Bournemouth on the A338 to Ringwood and join the A31, then follow the M27 for Portsmouth, pick up signs for the A27. Leave this road at the junction with the A3023 for Hayling Island.
After crossing the Langstone Harbour bridge, continue past the Yew Tree public house. After a mile turn left at the small roundabout into Church Road and after half a mile turn left into Hayling College grounds. Make sure that you park in the FRONT car park.
Distance: 57.8 miles, allow 80 minutes.

HOW TO GET TO HORNDEAN
Leave Bournemouth on the A338 to Ringwood and join the A31, and then follow the M27. Remain on this road picking up the A27 towards Chichester and then onto the A3(M) signed London. Leave A3(M) at Junction 2 on to the B2149. At top of slip road turn left continue on passing Morrisons Store on your right- over the mini roundabout to the next roundabout. Turn right at this roundabout taking the last exit off it signed Horndean and Petersfield A3. Continue straight on for approx 350 yards until you come to Five Heads Road on your left. Turn left into Five Heads Road and the ground is approximately half a mile on your Left.
Distance: 58.1 miles, allow 77 minutes.

HOW TO GET TO LAVERSTOCK & FORD
Leave Bournemouth on the A338 to Ringwood and continue towards Salisbury. Follow the ring road around the city staying in the nearside lane at the A36 Southampton roundabout. Continue on the ring road to the next roundabout. Take the last exit on to Wain-A-Long Road then turn left into Bourne Avenue. At the next roundabout take the first exit under the railway line. Stay on this road passing the Church on your left. The entrance to the ground is a narrow lane on your left opposite a Chinese takeaway, immediately before reaching the schools that are also on the right hand side.
Distance: 27.9 miles, allow 51 minutes.

HOW TO GET TO LYMINGTON TOWN
Leave Bournemouth and head towards Christchurch. Take the A337 at Somerford roundabout towards Highcliffe.
At the first roundabout after the shopping parade, take the second exit passing the Chewton Glen Hotel on your left. Continue on the A337 skirting the south of New Milton. At the next roundabout take the second exit (remaining on the A337). On the edge of Lymington take the Southampton road (A337) with Waitrose on your left. The car park at the this end of the ground is very small, so continue on the A337 and turn right at the traffic lights into Avenue Road as if making for the car ferry. Take the first right just before the Fire Station and there is a larger car park for the ground here.

HOW TO GET TO MONEYFIELDS
Leave Bournemouth on the A338 to Ringwood and join the A31, then follow the M27 for Portsmouth, pick up signs for the A27. Leave this road at the junction with the A2030 signed for Southsea. Take the fourth right in to Tangier Road. Portsmouth College will be on your left. Pass Baffins Pond on your left and then take the fifth right into Folkestone Road (just after the Tangiers pub). This leads in to Martin Road, the ground is opposite you at the T junction.

HOW TO GET TO NEW MILTON TOWN
Leave Bournemouth and head towards Christchurch. Take the A337 at Somerford roundabout towards Highcliffe.

HOW TO GET TO NEWPORT IOW
Either
Leave Bournemouth and head towards Christchurch. Take the A337 at Somerford roundabout towards Highcliffe. Continue until you reach Lymington. Then pick up the B3054 for the Ferry. Exit Yarmouth on the A3054 heading for Newport, on the outskirts pick up Medina Way at the roundabout heading towards Newport. Stay on this road crossing the river to the next big gyratory roundabout take second exit which is signed A3020 Sandown. Stay on this road going under a footbridge and then take the first exit at the first roundabout. The ground is around 200 yards on your left.

Leave Bournemouth on the A338 to Ringwood and join the A31, and then follow the M27. Leave at the M271 and head for the Red Jet ferry terminal.
There is a Bus Station in the ferry entrance where a regular bus service (up to every six minutes) can be picked up to take you into Newport town centre. The journey takes around 20 minutes.

HOW TO GET TO ROMSEY TOWN
Leave Bournemouth on the A338 to Ringwood and join the A31, then follow the M27 and leave at Junction 2, taking the first exit at the roundabout at the top of the slip road. At the next roundabout take the third exit for the A31. Stay on the A31 passing Broadlands on your right. Then turn right into the ground next to the pelican crossing.
Distance: 29.6 miles, allow 46 minutes.

HOW TO GET TO TOTTON & ELING
Leave Bournemouth on the A338 to Ringwood and join the A31, and then follow the M27. Leave the motorway at junction 2 taking the A326 towards Fawley.
Leave the A326 at the first exit and at the top of the slip road turn left towards Totton. The ground will appear on your left in just under one mile. The ground is at the rear of the complex- the ground alongside the road is that of AFC Totton.

HOW TO GET TO WINCHESTER CITY
Leave Bournemouth on the A338 to Ringwood and join the A31, then follow the M27 and M3 to Winchester. At junction 9, take the nearside lane for the A34 to Newbury.
Take a position in the offside lane signed A33 Basingstoke.
Turn left on to the B3047 at Kings Worthy and follow for approximately 3 miles. Upon entering the 30 mph zone, take second left in to Russell Road. Turn right at the end and then almost immediately left into Hillier Way. The ground entrance is at the bottom of the hill.
Distance: 39.7 miles, allow 59 minutes.
